Senior DevOps Engineer

About the job Job Description A professional services company is seeking a strong Senior DevOps Engineer to join its team. This is a hands-on role, where the engineer will work independently as the sole DevOps specialist, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure for multiple client projects. Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ensuring repeatable, secure, and scalable deployments. Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring. Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into software delivery processes. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures. Proactively identify opportunities to improve system reliability, scalability, and automation. Our Requirements Strong experience with AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, and IAM. Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, including modules, state management, and best practices. Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role, able to work independently. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or equivalent). Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and security best practices. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work autonomously, and take ownership of end-to-end DevOps responsibilities. Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills. Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) is a plus.
