About this role

An Automation Engineer (L3) is sought (India, remote/offshore) to help build and lead a growing automation capability supporting a large international customer environment, combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership as the focal point for the Automation Team. The role designs and implements automation solutions using Python and Ansible, develops and maintains automation playbooks, roles, inventories, and vaults, builds and supports CI/CD pipelines, automates operational and infrastructure processes, implements monitoring and observability solutions, supports Linux-based environments, and collaborates with database, infrastructure, and cloud teams while acting as track lead for the automation workstream. Required skills include strong Python scripting, hands-on Ansible expertise, experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps, monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana), Linux system administration, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). It is a 12-month contract with on-call support coverage.
