About the job
Do you have a strong technical background in various areas of modern technology stacks, with a focus on cloud deployments? Are you a highly motivated, self-directed technical person with practical experience delivering digital platforms? Do you understand fundamental DevOps practices and culture and have experience in Agile methodology and popular Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban?

Responsibilities
Develop, build and manage CI/CD pipelines using modern toolsets for both application and infrastructure as code, including: automated build and release pipelines, code quality checks, unit, integration and functional tests integrated into pipelines, PowerShell scripting for custom task automation
Manage and support customer cloud environments
Help advise customers on technical aspects of installation, sizing and scaling
Contribute to the support of development teams in technical questions of continuous integration and continuous delivery
Set up monitoring and optimise for cost and performance under the guidance of seniors
Manage the full release and support process following defined processes
Requirements
4+ years of relevant professional experience
Experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud-based production systems on Windows or Linux OS
Experience with CloudFormation/Terraform IaC and automation for resource provisioning (AWS CLI)
Amazon Web Services experience (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Lambda, Route 53, IAM, ELB)
Some understanding of load balancers, DNS, virtual networks, and firewalls in the context of cloud computing
Skills in configuring monitoring tools (performance metrics, CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
Experience with SNS, SQS, or messaging services
Basic understanding of AWS IAM including authentication and implementing role-based access control
Experience in developing, building, and managing CI/CD pipelines using modern toolsets for applications and infrastructure as code, including automated build and release pipelines, code quality checks, unit, integration, and functional tests integrated into pipelines, as well as PowerShell scripting for custom task automation
Understanding of Git usage and branching practices
Background in Agile delivery (e.g. Scrum or Kanban) as part of a team
Ability to document the work being delivered
Customer-oriented, diligent, proactive, and focused on achieving customers’ business objectives
Ability to successfully collaborate with fellow team members
B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
Skills in Cloud Native Development with .NET, Python, Java, Groovy, or Bash
Showcase of relative cloud certifications
Proficiency with multiple CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus, Ansible, and Terraform
Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems
Familiarity with working across a second cloud platform such as AWS/GCP
