Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer | GenAI Platform

About the job We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a cross-functional team of Data Scientists, Business Engineers, and DevOps specialists currently building a next-generation GenAI platform. The role sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, automation, and AI delivery in a regulated financial environment. This is a contracting role until 30.06.2027 with extensions planned. Key responsibilities Configure and manage Azure cloud resources, including APIM, AI Search, Azure OpenAI, Document Intelligence, and Azure Foundry, using Terraform as the primary IaC tool Design and maintain LLMOps pipelines covering the full build, test, and release cycle across development, test, and production environments Contribute to architecture blueprints and technical standards, ensuring all platform components (databases, ML models, applications) integrate seamlessly and comply with internal and regulatory requirements Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Azure Dashboards to maintain platform stability and operational efficiency Ensure the infrastructure remains consistent, scalable, and aligned with the organisation's security and compliance frameworks Required profile Solid hands-on experience with Azure cloud services in an AI or platform engineering context, with deep proficiency in Terraform and modern DevOps toolchains, including Git, Gitlab CI/CD, and Docker. Strong understanding of GenAI concepts, particularly Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic AI architectures Experience in optimising and operationalising GenAI solutions in production. Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Azure Monitor Development skills in Python and/or Java. Experience in developing and presenting architecture proposals to IT Security and Domain Architecture stakeholders.
