About the job A leading medical device company in Zug is looking for a DevOps Engineer/Expert. Home Office:Onsite 50% , home office possible, flexible working hours . The perfect candidate is an Infrastructure Engineer with 8+ years of experience building and managing scalable infrastructure and user-facing services. They have strong collaboration skills, work effectively with software developers and solution engineers, and can communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required. English fluency is essential; German is a pl us. Tasks & Responsibilit ies: • Contribute to RLX infrastructure from all the way to hardware and physical network to bui ldingand maintaining on-premises HA clusters with all their infrastructure ser vices• Select, order, assemble and integrate hardware for the infrastru cture• Contribute to the RLX hardware in the loop testing infrastru cture• Create and operate the platform for our high level services (build servers, ci runners, art ifactreposito ries)• Integrate the infrastructure with external dependencies (compute, storage, network pro videdby the company and facilities available on site, and also with service dependencies, su ch asGitLab, GitHub, Artifactory, S lack)• Create declarative infrastructure as code solution for infrastructure manag ement• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting and inventory management ser vices• Provide a platform for developer self service, that allows devs to experiment or sol utionengineers to take over a hardware in a loop device for debugging and te sting• Design a lifecycle management solution for the infrastructure and the hardware in the loophardware compo nents• Design, implement, test and maintain the backup, emergency and disaster rec overyprocedures for the infrastructure and the ser vices• Manage the cloud infrastru cture• Integrate cloud and on premises infrastructure and ser vices• Design, build and maintain pipelines (Gi tHub) Key requi rements • 8+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or a relate d field.• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering dis cipline.• Proven track record of designing, building, and operating infrastructure platforms from the ground up, including user-facing services and production envir onments.• Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture, reliability, security, and operational exc ellence.• Experience collaborating close ly with:• Software E ngineers• Solution Ar chitects• Product and Platfo rm teams• Customer-facing technical stak eholders• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, drive infrastructure improvements, and influence engineering best pr actices.• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in fast-paced envir onments.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical au diences.• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
