About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (gn) in a lead role to join our team. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our end-to-end cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in our ongoing technical transformation, modernizing legacy systems, establishing domain-oriented platform services, and building a scalable, secure, and highly available system landscape. Your expertise will help us develop a sustainable operating model for a multi-stakeholder DevOps function, empowering our product teams through self-service capabilities. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity. Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform, Kubernetes (preferably EKS), GitOps, and observability tools such as Datadog. Deep knowledge of AWS services including IAM, VPC, MSK/Kafka, RDS, and S3; experience with Azure or GCP is a plus. Proficiency in infrastructure security, including network policies, secrets management, container security, IAM design, and understanding of ISO 27001 standards. Experience leading small teams and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to translate infrastructure topics into business impact and possess a builder mindset. Responsibilities Take complete ownership of our cloud infrastructure, managing AWS components such as EKS, MSK, RDS, S3, and IAM, as well as smaller Azure workloads, ensuring performance, security, and cost-efficiency. Ensure reliable deployments through ownership of our CI/CD landscape, utilizing tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Helm, including implementing rollbacks, progressive delivery, and drift detection. Develop self-service capabilities in collaboration with our Enabler Team, enabling product teams to independently provision and deploy infrastructure and applications. Define clear Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) across critical services and optimize observability configurations using Datadog. Manage the technical security and compliance posture, including network policies, secrets management, container security, and infrastructure controls aligned with ISO 27001 standards, while advancing supply-chain security and access governance. Lead and organize the DevOps team, establishing processes for intake, prioritization, and communication to ensure efficient workflow and continuous improvement.
