About this role
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining the production infrastructure for defi.com's platform. They will work closely with the backend development team to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure systems. The role involves designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure (specifically Azure or similar platforms), and ensuring robust monitoring, logging, and alerting practices. The individual will also contribute to backend development using TypeScript, Node.js, Bun, or Rust, and will integrate third-party services to support the platform's functionality. The role requires a strong focus on system reliability, uptime, and incident response.

Role Description
We’re looking for someone with strong DevOps skills who can also contribute to backend
development for the defi.com platform.
Technical Requirements
- Strong DevOps and production infrastructure experience
- Hands-on experience with Azure or a similar cloud platform
- Docker, CI/CD, and deployment automation
- Backend development with TypeScript / Node.js / Bun / Rust
- API development and third-party service integrations
- Security, secrets management, and environment configuration
- Monitoring, logging, alerting, and reliability practices
- Experience operating production systems with attention to uptime, observability,
and incident response
Nice To Have
- Web3, DeFi, crypto, or blockchain infrastructure experience
- Smart contract deployment experience
- Indexers or event-driven backend systems
- Geofencing or location-based access control
- Compliance or restricted-jurisdiction experience
