The role in a nutshell: We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes to join our DevOps team. You'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-native applications. You'll work closely with development and operations teams to optimize our software development lifecycle and enhance system reliability and performance. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Maintain and Improve CI/CD Pipelines: Work with Azure DevOps (or similar tools) to support automated build, test, and deployment processes. Infrastructure Management: Provision and configure Azure infrastructure components, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Virtual Machines, Networking, and Storage. Kubernetes Operations: Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications on AKS clusters. Infrastructure as Code: Utilize tools like Terraform or Bicep to manage and update infrastructure templates. System Monitoring: Monitor performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and help ensure high availability of applications in the Azure environment. Automation: Develop and update scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) to automate repetitive operational tasks. Security Implementation: Apply security best practices across Azure environments and Kubernetes clusters. Team Collaboration: Partner with development teams to support cloud-native deployments and operational efficiency. Support: Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain system reliability. WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Experience: 2–4 years of experience in a DevOps or System Administration role. Azure Knowledge: Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services, specifically AKS. Containerization: Solid understanding of Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration. CI/CD Tools: Experience managing and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins). IaC Skills: Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform or ARM templates). Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Python, or Bash). Observability: Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana. Networking & Git: Good understanding of cloud networking concepts and Git version control. Communication: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in English. Education: BS in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience. NICE TO HAVE: Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate). Knowledge of microservices architecture.
