About the job 1. About Our Client: Jeppesen ForeFlight provides aviation software solutions to Commercial, Business, Military, and General Aviation sectors worldwide. It addresses the challenges of aviation safety, operational efficiency, and decision-making by integrating decades of aeronautical data with advanced aviation technology to deliver comprehensive tools for pilots and aviation professionals. 2. About the Opportunity: The DevOps and Release Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing the Salesforce release process and DevOps platform. This role ensures reliable and efficient deployments across multiple environments, supports continuous integration and delivery workflows, and maintains communication with stakeholders to uphold production quality and stability. 3. Responsibilities: • Own and enforce the end-to-end Salesforce release process from change intake to production deployment • Maintain release calendar and coordinate release windows • Define and govern release gates, approval workflows, and change freeze policies • Facilitate go/no-go decisions prior to production deployments • Maintain deployment runbooks, rollback procedures, and validation checklists • Track release metrics and generate deployment health reports • Administer and optimize the Copado DevOps platform across Salesforce environments • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot deployment pipelines and environment configurations • Manage user stories, branches, and snapshots within Copado • Automate quality gates, static code analysis, and test execution in CI/CD workflows • Support and configure Copado Robotic Testing and integration with Salesforce testing frameworks 4. Requirements: • 7+ years of Salesforce DevOps or release management experience • Hands-on Copado administration and pipeline development (Copado Developer or Admin certification preferred) • Experience managing multi-environment Salesforce deployments • Proficiency with Salesforce DX, metadata API, and Git version control • Experience with Agile/Scrum release processes • Strong communication and coordination skills with US-based stakeholders • Ability to respond to production incidents quickly and accurately • Preferred: Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification • Preferred: Experience with MuleSoft, AWS integrations, or Salesforce Flow automation • Preferred: Familiarity with ITSM tools like Jira or ServiceNow • Preferred: Background in aviation, defense, or aerospace software environments 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package: • Summary Pay Range: $147,000-$170,000 6.
