About the job The Zscaler Architect is acting as the technical leader and subject matter expert for our Zscaler platforms across a global enterprise environment. Working in close partnership with the Zscaler Solution Owner and other Solution IT Architects, this role will lead the technical design authority, establish strategies and drive adoption of new Zscaler capabilities, and ensure high-quality, standardized implementations across all regions. This position requires deep expertise across the full Zscaler stack, combined with strong communication and influencing skills to support and guide distributed IT teams. Your tasks Lead the technical design phase for all Zscaler-related initiatives Define, validate, and govern end-to-end architectures across the full Zscaler stack (eg., ZIA, ZPA, Zidentity, ZCC, App Connectors, Private Service Edge, ZDX) Produce and maintain high-level and low-level design documentation (HLD/LLD) Act as the final escalation point for complex architectural decisions Evaluate, test, and onboard new Zscaler functionalities and capabilities Translate new features into enterprise-ready design patterns and standards Lead POCs, pilots, and rollout strategies aligned with business needs Provide expert guidance on complex deployments and integrations Ensure optimal configuration of: traffic forwarding methods (Zscaler Client Connector, GRE/IPSec, PAC), access policies and segmentation models, performance, scalability, and resilience Support troubleshooting of critical and complex technical issues Act as L3/L4 escalation point for Zscaler-related incidents Define and maintain standards, runbooks, and best practices Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Network or Security Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience At least 7 years of experience in Zscaler engineering or architecture roles in large, multi-site, hybrid environments Relevant certifications are highly valued: Zscaler certifications (ZCCA, ZCTA, ZDX), Network certifications (e.g., Cisco, equivalent), Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP) Experience collaborating with external service providers and global integrators Previous work with Zero‑Trust architecture and cloud-based security solutions Proven record designing and governing Zscaler solutions Ability to influence, convince, and drive technical decisions Leadership through expertise, mentoring, and guidance (without direct authority) Ability to provide clear architectural direction and decision support under pressure Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate clearly in both written and spoken form across a global organization Strong ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural, multi‑regional environment, working with teams and stakeholders across different countries and time zones Fluent Polish required Residing in Poland required Job no. 260616-ZBSZC Sii ensures that all hiring decisions are made solely on the basis of qualifications and competence.
