As a Systems Engineer specializing in Rust, you will design and build high-performance, foundational software components for performance-critical and networking-heavy applications. You will leverage Rust’s unique approach to memory safety and concurrency to develop efficient, stable systems that achieve high performance. What You'll Do Design and implement performance-critical systems software using Rust’s ownership and borrowing model. Build and maintain robust backend services using frameworks like Actix or Axum. Optimize low-level code for memory safety and execution speed without the overhead of a garbage collector. Develop secure and efficient communication layers using gRPC or JSON-RPC. Implement robust, thread-safe concurrency and async patterns to support high-throughput processing. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system reliability and efficient resource utilization across AWS deployments. What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Backend Development. Proven expertise in Rust programming, focusing on memory safety and high-performance applications. Proficiency with asynchronous patterns and frameworks such as Actix or Axum. Strong experience building backend services with PostgreSQL and gRPC or JSON-RPC. Hands-on experience with AWS deployment and cloud-native infrastructure. Advanced proficiency in English.
