About the job We’re seeking experienced systems engineers, MBSE modelers, and requirements engineers for paid remote contract work. The work is project-based, fully asynchronous, and scoped to your professional expertise. The role This is a contract position: fully remote, asynchronous, and designed to fit around your existing work. Compensation is $110–$140/hr depending on your experience. Projects draw directly on your professional experience and the software you are familiar with. New opportunities become available as projects launch. Who we’re looking for We are looking for systems engineers, MBSE engineers, and requirements engineers from aerospace, defense, automotive, and other complex hardware programs who author requirements, build system-architecture models, and drive verification traceability. Relevant focus areas include: Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) SysML / Arcadia architecture modeling Requirements management Interface control & verification planning Preferred software and skills Deep hands-on experience with a professional MBSE toolchain is required — for example Capella (Arcadia method), Cameo Systems Modeler / MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect. The work centers on SysML and model-based system architecture. Requirements You have 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant role (freelance, agency, or in-house). You have deep hands-on fluency with the professional software of your field. You can clearly explain your work: what you make, how you make it, and how you judge quality.
