Systems Engineer

About the job For our client, we are seeking a Systems Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually Responsibilities Develop a secure, scalable, and decentralized blockchain system Manage a network comprising 1000 nodes and $500M in assets Optimize processing to handle 100M requests per second Maintain operational costs at $250K monthly Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science (focus on kernel, data structures, or compilers) 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience At least 1 year in a startup environment Willingness to work 60-hour weeks Ability to coordinate 4-hour daily overlap with Pacific Time Strong communication and interpersonal skills Benefits Flexible work hours with a strong emphasis on collaboration Opportunity to work on groundbreaking blockchain technology Exposure to large scale blockchain operations Involvement in a startup environment with innovative dynamics Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
