Staff Platform Infrastructure Engineer - USA Remote

About the job For our client, we are seeking a Staff Platform Infrastructure Engineer - USA Remote to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Business Services environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 annually Responsibilities Build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for consistent deployment processes Develop a self-service platform for data scientists and engineers to provision resources Integrate security and governance practices into the platform's design Mentor engineers and guide cross-team architectural and design decisions Qualifications 5+ years of software, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience in data or AI/ML infrastructure Hands-on expertise with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) with some familiarity in multi-cloud Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions) Proficient in one programming language (Python, Go, Bash) for automation and tooling development Solid grasp of security and networking for secure cloud resource provisioning Benefits Flexibility for remote work arrangements Comprehensive healthcare programs including medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off to support work-life balance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
