Staff Platform Engineer

Accountabilities: Design, build, and evolve secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud platforms leveraging AWS and Kubernetes technologies. Develop platform products, Kubernetes operators, and cloud-native automation that enable engineering teams to provision and manage infrastructure autonomously. Drive improvements in observability, reliability, performance, and cost optimization across cloud environments. Build and maintain modern CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling to streamline software delivery processes. Ensure high availability and resilience of Kubernetes clusters and platform services. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to provide guidance, support platform adoption, and improve developer experience. Contribute to technical standards, architecture discussions, best practices, RFCs, and documentation to support long-term platform evolution. Promote a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across the organization. Requirements Extensive experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related infrastructure-focused roles. Strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native architectures. Hands-on experience building production-grade automation tools and infrastructure platforms using Golang, Python, or similar programming languages. Deep understanding of observability practices, monitoring systems, and reliability engineering principles. Experience with Infrastructure as Code and operator-driven approaches, including Kubernetes Operators or Crossplane. Solid understanding of CI/CD practices, cloud security, and DevSecOps principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proven experience solving complex technical challenges. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in distributed and cross-functional environments. Professional proficiency in both English and Portuguese.
