Sr. Lead, Alternatives Data Operations

Accountabilities: The Sr. Lead, Alternatives Data Operations will own the operational strategy, team performance, and continuous improvement of alternatives data workflows. This role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to build scalable processes that support accurate and timely data delivery. Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for alternatives and market data operations aligned with business objectives and growth priorities. Lead and scale a high-performing operations team through hiring, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and career development initiatives. Establish and monitor operational KPIs focused on data quality, processing efficiency, scalability, resource utilization, and client satisfaction. Manage service-level agreements (SLAs), ensuring accurate and timely delivery of alternatives data to internal and external stakeholders. Drive automation and workflow optimization initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve operational capacity. Build and maintain operational processes, controls, documentation, and playbooks to ensure consistency and scalability. Partner with Product, Engineering, Client Solutions, and other teams to implement tools, processes, and improvements that enhance data operations. Identify operational challenges, manage escalations, and provide solutions that improve performance and stakeholder alignment. Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and results-oriented team culture while encouraging innovation and continuous learning. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced data operations leader with a strong background in financial services, alternatives data, and operational transformation. You should combine technical understanding, leadership capability, and a passion for building efficient, scalable teams. 10+ years of experience in data operations, data management, financial technology, wealth technology, or related fields. Proven experience leading teams in a senior operational or management capacity. Strong expertise in alternatives data, including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and private credit data workflows. Experience with market data operations such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, pricing, or corporate actions is a plus. Demonstrated success in improving data quality, operational efficiency, and scalable processes. Experience implementing automation, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives using modern technologies. Strong project management, analytical, and change management skills. Experience managing global teams and collaborating across regions and functions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with confidence engaging clients, partners, and internal teams.
