As a Software Engineer III, you'll design and build the scalable backend services and integrations that connect Spreetail's platform to the world's largest sales channels. This is a high-ownership role for an engineer who thinks in systems — you'll shape architecture, solve hard problems, and keep high-throughput services reliable as we scale. What experiences will help you in this role: 2-5 years of backend development: Proficiency in Python; experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks. Modern Data Stack: Experience with DBT, Snowflake, S3, or AWS Glue. You know how to modify and optimize data transformations. Distributed Systems: Practical experience with Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL – especially in scalable, production contexts. Performance Tuning: Ability to optimize services and queries for speed and reliability. API Development: Experience building performant APIs to serve large datasets.
