Senior Staff Client Platform Engineer

About the job For our client, we are seeking a Senior Staff Client Platform Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Telecommunications & Hardware environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $200,000 – $322,000 annually Responsibilities Architect and build scalable tooling and services for client platforms Apply codified principles for repeatable and auditable changes across diverse environments Set technical standards for automation and mentor engineering teams Collaborate with various teams to improve reliability and developer experiences Serve as architect for service delivery issues and drive root-cause analysis Influence changes to policies and establish procedures that impact multiple teams Qualifications BS/MS or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer Science 12+ years of experience in Client Platform Engineering Expert-level experience managing global endpoint fleets at scale Mastery of Configuration as Code and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) Experience in building internal tooling, CLI tools, or microservices for automation Proficiency in software development (Python, Go, Rust) for systems engineering Strong communication and partner management skills Benefits Equity eligibility Access to AI-driven recruitment tools Opportunity for long-term professional growth Focus on innovative technologies and practices Involvement in high-impact multi-functional initiatives Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
