Senior Software Engineer - Streaming AI

Accountabilities: Design, develop, and operate high-performance infrastructure that supports large-scale AI and real-time data streaming capabilities. Build foundational software systems focused on reliability, scalability, efficiency, and operational excellence across cloud environments. Architect solutions that enable customers to run advanced AI inference and intelligent agents directly on streaming data platforms. Solve complex distributed systems challenges, including resource allocation, failover strategies, networking, and system reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve infrastructure performance and support evolving AI-driven use cases. Enhance observability, troubleshooting capabilities, and overall system resilience across multiple cloud providers. Contribute to technical decisions and engineering practices within a high-ownership environment where individual contributions have significant impact. Requirements: 2–5 years of professional experience designing, building, and supporting backend systems in production environments. Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, and large-scale software architecture. Experience developing and operating highly available, reliable systems at scale. Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their associated services. Proficiency in Java, Scala, C++, Go, or another statically typed programming language. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with model serving, LLM infrastructure, AI agents, or streaming data systems is considered an asset. Interest in building the platforms that enable AI applications at scale rather than focusing on model research or training.
