Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript. Build and enhance frontend applications using Angular while collaborating with product and design teams to deliver performant and user-friendly interfaces. Contribute to API architecture and ensure solutions are secure, consistent, maintainable, and scalable. Design database schemas, manage migrations, and optimize query performance across relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server. Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical decisions for new features and platform improvements. Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code while actively participating in code reviews and engineering best practices. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the application stack. Implement security practices including authentication, authorization, input validation, rate limiting, and protection mechanisms. Ensure production reliability through effective process management, monitoring, health checks, structured logging, and operational improvements. Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers in an agile development environment. Requirements 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on experience building production applications. Strong proficiency in Node.js with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. Experience developing production applications with Express.js, including middleware, request lifecycle management, and error handling. Strong TypeScript skills with the ability to build maintainable and scalable applications. Hands-on experience developing Angular applications (version 12 or later). Solid understanding of REST API design principles and backend service development. Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar technologies. Experience with Git-based development workflows, pull requests, and collaborative software development practices. Ability to troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and take ownership of technical solutions. Experience with streaming APIs, authentication frameworks such as JWT/OAuth/SAML, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), Docker, caching strategies, or observability tools is a plus. Previous experience working in B2B SaaS, fintech, or other data-intensive technology environments is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
