Senior Public Cloud Engineer

About the job Role: Senior Public Cloud Engineer Location: 100% Remote (Must be physically based in Singapore) Duration: 6 – 12 Months (Contract-to-Hire) Experience: 8+ years of overall infrastructure/cloud experience, including at least 4-5 years of deep, hands-on experience specifically in access management/authorization, networking, image building, and logging/metrics (not general cloud administration). Team context: Supports public cloud platform infrastructure underlying iCloud and other organization departments. Responsibilities: Operate and support public cloud infrastructure (multi-cloud environment — not limited to AWS; Alibaba Cloud relevant for the Singapore/APAC scope). Own or contribute to access management and control, authorization, and identity/permissions design. Manage cloud networking (VPC/VNet design, connectivity, security groups, routing). Build and maintain image pipelines (golden images, AMI/image lifecycle). Implement and maintain logging and metrics pipelines for observability. Contribute to internal tooling that supports the platform and downstream organization teams, not just day-to-day operations. Required Skills: Deep, hands-on expertise in a core set of cloud infrastructure domains — access management, authorization, networking, image building, logging, and metrics — rather than broad, shallow exposure across a cloud provider's full-service catalog. Strong production experience operating at scale Comfort working across more than one public cloud platform is a plus, given the multi-cloud nature of the team.
