Senior Product Engineer (Contract)

Accountabilities: Leverage AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to rapidly prototype, validate, and deploy production-ready solutions. Identify high-impact opportunities across the business where software, automation, data, or AI can drive operational efficiency, product innovation, or revenue growth. Own the full software lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering to architecture, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications, backend services, internal tools, and automation solutions. Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business challenges, define requirements, and measure outcomes. Contribute to architectural decisions, technical strategy, and long-term platform evolution. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure environments, ensuring system reliability, observability, and performance. Conduct code reviews, uphold engineering best practices, and support knowledge sharing across teams. Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and development methodologies that can improve engineering productivity and business outcomes. Requirements Proven experience delivering complex software products and business solutions with a high degree of autonomy and ownership. Strong background in full-stack software engineering and production application development. Demonstrated expertise in AI-assisted development workflows and the ability to effectively integrate AI tools into engineering processes while maintaining quality and security standards. Experience working with modern web application frameworks such as Laravel or comparable technologies. Solid understanding of experimentation platforms, A/B testing methodologies, and data-driven product development practices. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Cloudflare, or similar environments. Strong knowledge of relational databases, query optimization, and data modeling. Proficiency with Git-based development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and modern software delivery practices. Experience with technologies such as PHP, Python, TypeScript, Laravel, Astro, MySQL, Datadog, LLM APIs, RAG architectures, embeddings, agent frameworks, containerization, or infrastructure-as-code is considered advantageous. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in globally distributed teams. Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. Must be authorized to work in India without employer sponsorship.
