Senior Product Engineer – C#/.NET & AI
Sheffield / South Yorkshire | Hybrid x3
We're hiring a Senior AI Software Engineer to join a global enterprise software organisation making a significant investment in embedding AI into established commercial products.
This isn't an AI research position. We're looking for a strong Full-Stack C#/.NET Engineer who has already integrated AI/LLMs into real software products or solutions.
You'll work across established and evolving products, taking AI capabilities from concept through to production within a fast-moving engineering environment.
Technology
- C# / .NET / ASP.NET Core
- REST APIs & microservices
- React, Angular, Next.js or similar
- SQL Server / PostgreSQL
- Azure and/or AWS
- OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude or other LLMs
- Local/self-hosted models advantageous
- AI security & guardrails
- Git / CI/CD / Azure DevOps
- Cursor, Claude, Codex, Copilot or similar tooling
What we're looking for
You'll already be an accomplished C#/.NET Software Engineer with genuine full-stack capability.
Crucially, your AI experience needs to go beyond simply using Copilot, Cursor or Claude to write code. We want evidence of personally integrating AI/LLM capability into an actual product or solution.
Experience around model integration, prompt/context engineering, guardrails, local LLMs, RAG, evaluation or agentic AI would all be valuable.
Automotive, automotive aftermarket or rental software experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.
