Your role As a Senior Platform Engineer , You Will Design and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments on GCP and AWS Automate infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment processes Design and implement cloud security including IAM, Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP), firewall rules Provision and manage networking, compute, storage, and database services in the cloud Improve reliability and performance through effective monitoring, logging, and alerting Collaborate with clients and internal teams to build custom cloud solutions Your skill-set 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering (GCP, AWS, or hybrid environments) Solid knowledge in cloud networking, IAM, compute, and storage services Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform preferred Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience working in consulting environments Strong team spirit and excellent implementation skills in projects High social competence and enjoyment of working in diverse teams Strong willingness for personal and professional development Completed studies (e.g. in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics) Broad technological understanding and analytical approach Professional attitude and fluent German and English skills Nice-to-have GCP or AWS certifications (e.g. GCP Professional Cloud Engineer, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) Experience with server-less architectures (e.g. Cloud Functions, AWS Lambda) Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization practices Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles Your Benefits Active involvement in shaping a young, growing technology consultancy Flat hierarchies and ownership of your own topics, projects, and business ideas Personalized development opportunities and certifications A company culture built on openness, trust, and personal responsibility Transparent career development with room for individual initiative Fair profit sharing model Project setup Primary workplace is on-site at the client’s location in the German-speaking part of Switzerland Workload: 80–100%, with flexible working hours and home office options depending on the project Application Send your application with all relevant documents in one PDF attachment to info@pront.org ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍
