Senior Platform Engineer | Go & Kubernetes Controllers

About the job We are currently partnering with a large scale international technology environment focused on building next generation cloud infrastructure and highly automated platform services across Europe. This opportunity is ideal for engineers passionate about Kubernetes internals, platform engineering, automation and distributed systems, who enjoy owning infrastructure from development through production. Your Responsibilities Develop and maintain Kubernetes Controllers and Operators within complex multi-cluster environments Build automation solutions for provisioning and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure Package and deploy platform services using standardized deployment approaches across multiple environments Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and internal engineering platforms Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams in an agile environment Contribute to secure infrastructure designs, including segmented and isolated environments Ensure reliability, scalability and operational excellence of cloud-native systems What We’re Looking For Strong experience developing software in Go / Golang Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments Experience building Kubernetes Controllers, Operators or working with Cluster API ecosystems Good understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems Experience with CI/CD tooling, automation and Infrastructure as Code Comfortable operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters Exposure to highly secure or isolated infrastructure environments is a plus Strong communication skills in English Nice to Have Experience with multi-cluster orchestration Knowledge of GitOps practices Exposure to platform engineering or internal developer platforms Familiarity with air-gapped or highly regulated environments
