About the Opportunity:
The Senior II Site Reliability Engineer will lead reliability efforts for the organization's serverless AI inference platform. This role is responsible for shaping observability strategies, automating operations, managing incidents, and influencing architectural decisions to ensure the platform's stability and performance. The position involves mentoring engineers and establishing reliability practices critical to supporting AI inference workloads at scale.
Responsibilities:
Own the observability strategy including telemetry, dashboards, alerts, and SLO/SLI frameworks
Build automation and tooling to reduce operational toil and improve incident response
Lead incident management and drive systemic improvements from post-mortems
Define and implement deployment safety practices such as progressive rollouts and rollback automation
Collaborate with product engineering teams on architecture and operational readiness
Requirements:
8+ years in SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineering with large-scale distributed systems
Proven experience defining SLO/SLI frameworks and managing incident processes at scale
Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration for compute-intensive workloads
Proficiency in building automation tools using Python or Go
Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers independently
Experience or exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, model serving, or GPU workloads
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
For US candidates, base salary ranges from $146,400 to $263,600 per year
Compensation varies outside the US and may include bonuses, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan
