About the job Senior GCP DevOps / Platform Engineer – Remote Freelance Project (Poland) Location: Remote (Poland ONLY) Contract: Freelance / B2B Language: Polish and English is a MUST We are looking for an experienced Senior GCP DevOps / Platform Engineer to support and develop a cloud platform running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work on Kubernetes infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and cloud operations while collaborating with international development teams to deliver a secure, scalable, and highly available platform. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain GCP environments (DEV, QA, UAT, STG, PROD) Administer GKE/Kubernetes, Helm charts, and deployments Configure and support Cloud SQL, IAM, Artifact Registry, Cloud Storage, and Secret Manager Manage networking components including Istio, load balancers, DNS, firewall rules, and ingress Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues Collaborate with development teams and support production releases Must-Have Skills: Strong hands-on experience with GCP, including GKE, IAM, Cloud SQL, Secret Manager, and Artifact Registry Production experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker Strong knowledge of cloud networking, Istio, load balancing, DNS, and firewall configuration Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of cloud security best practices Nice to Have: Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Multi-region GCP environments PostgreSQL, Prefect, or Cube.js Splunk or Datadog If you are a Senior GCP DevOps Engineer looking for your next remote freelance opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
