Responsibilities
- Take over the technical leadership responsibilities for existing application.
- Participate in knowledge transfer (KT) and ensure smooth transition of responsibilities.
- Lead the design and development of backend services using Java / Spring / Microservices.
- Contribute to frontend development or support frontend architecture when needed.
- Guide the team on technical decisions, architecture, and best practices.
- Review code, enforce quality standards, and support team members in solving complex issues.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders to ensure delivery alignment.
- Support backlog refinement and provide technical input for estimations.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, CI/CD, testing, and release processes.
- Mentor developers and help grow technical capabilities inside the team.
- Act as technical point of contact for the project.
Skills
Must have
- Strong experience with Java (8/11/17+)
- Solid experience with Spring / Spring Boot / Microservices
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Experience with Frontend technologies (Angular / React / TypeScript / JavaScript)
- OR willingness to work on frontend when required
- Experience as Tech Lead / Team Lead / Senior Developer with leadership responsibilities
- Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns
- Experience with SQL / relational databases
- Experience with Git / CI-CD / build pipelines
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with time-critical delivery
