Senior Financial Analyst

Accountabilities: Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial modeling for key business functions. Partner with department leaders to gather financial inputs, align spending plans with strategic priorities, and support effective resource allocation. Build and enhance financial models to forecast operating expenses, identify trends, and highlight potential risks and opportunities. Perform detailed variance analysis by comparing actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions. Prepare clear financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights and support leadership decision-making. Monitor and analyze operating expenses, including technology-related spending, to ensure alignment with financial objectives. Develop and maintain key performance indicators to measure efficiency, effectiveness, and financial performance. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes by ensuring accurate and timely financial data. Collaborate with finance teams and business stakeholders to improve reporting consistency, processes, and operational efficiency. Communicate financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences across the organization. Requirements: 3–5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a SaaS, technology, or high-growth business environment. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Strong experience with financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and business analysis. Proficiency with spreadsheet tools, including advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills. Experience with financial planning platforms such as Workday or Adaptive Planning is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to diverse stakeholders. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong business acumen, proactive mindset, and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
