Senior Financial Analyst- FP&A

Accountabilities: Lead financial planning activities for the India business unit, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and monthly rolling forecast processes. Own monthly and quarterly management reporting, providing clear insights into operational performance, regional expenses, headcount trends, and key business metrics. Conduct in-depth variance analyses to identify financial trends, risks, opportunities, and cost optimization initiatives. Partner closely with regional leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to support budget management, procurement decisions, and strategic business initiatives. Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate month-end close activities and maintain centralized financial reporting processes. Support financial oversight of technology-related expenses, including cloud infrastructure and operational spending where applicable. Develop financial models and perform ad-hoc analyses to support business growth initiatives and strategic decision-making. Drive process improvements and leverage FP&A platforms, reporting tools, and business intelligence solutions to automate manual processes and improve scalability. Contribute to special projects and provide data-driven recommendations to support operational and financial objectives. Requirements 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related financial analysis roles. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; advanced certifications or qualifications are considered an advantage. Prior experience within the technology, software, or SaaS industry is highly desirable. Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting methodologies, budgeting processes, and management reporting. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insights. Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, matrixed, and globally distributed environments with multiple priorities and evolving business needs. Experience working independently with limited oversight while effectively collaborating across teams and time zones. Strong attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Familiarity with cloud cost management tools such as CloudHealth, Apptio Cloudability, AWS Cost Explorer, or similar platforms is considered a strong advantage. Passion for using data, financial insights, and business acumen to solve complex challenges and support strategic decision-making. Proficiency with financial systems, reporting tools, spreadsheets, and business intelligence platforms.
