Senior DevOps Engineer with AWS

Project Description We are developing a monitoring and diagnostics system that fulfills both local and remote data access and analytics requirements, as well as local and remote troubleshooting needs. Responsibilities Analyze, design, and implement Edge solutions using AWS Greengrass components. Build code and logic for the optimal extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a wide variety of data sources using Python or other programming languages. Develop analytics solutions that provide valuable insights for clients and end users. Work within an Agile project team with clearly defined goals and deliverables. Translate business requirements into technical architecture. Provide technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers' business needs. Develop a strong understanding of customers' businesses and requirements. Shape the technical direction and strategy for both the organization and external customers. Guide project team members in delivering specific technical solutions. Mandatory Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Strong expertise in CI/CD. Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting. Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus. Understanding of cloud security and networking. Understanding of Industrial IoT. Hands-on experience with AWS IoT Greengrass (mandatory). Experience with real-time data processing systems. Hands-on experience in SQL database design. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to meeting delivery deadlines. Resilience. Proactive mindset and effective communication skills. Nice-to-Have Skills AWS Certification. Additional experience with AWS IoT Greengrass.
