Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes) - Remote Portugal

The project We're looking for a Cloud Engineer to join a world-class technology consultancy, helping design, automate, and optimize modern cloud infrastructure for global clients. You'll work as part of Agile engineering teams, managing AWS environments, building Infrastructure as Code, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and driving DevOps best practices across complex, cloud-native systems. Stack: AWS, Terraform, Terragrunt, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Databricks, CloudFront, Ansible Location: Full Remote (Portugal) Compensation: €2,850 – €3,800/month net, depending on experience and seniority What you need Strong experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm Proficiency with Terraform and Terragrunt Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, DataDog, or CloudWatch Experience managing Databricks infrastructure Knowledge of CloudFront, Akamai, and AWS networking Strong Linux/Unix troubleshooting skills Scripting experience with Bash and/or Python Familiarity with Ansible and DevOps best practices Fluent English Nice to have: Azure or GCP experience, AWS/Kubernetes certifications, web architecture knowledge, and mentoring experience.
