We are looking for an AWS Engineer to support the design, build, automation, and operations of a modern AWS cloud environment. This role will focus on multi-account AWS architecture, infrastructure automation, event-driven services, cloud governance, and operational reliability across enterprise cloud platforms.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as Organizations, Control Tower, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC networking, EventBridge, S3, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, EC2, Service Catalog, SSM, KMS, AWS Config, and CloudWatch.
This role is well suited for someone who understands how to build scalable AWS environments using infrastructure as code, automation, and cloud-native patterns, while also supporting strong governance, security, observability, and operational standards.
Key responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure across multiple accounts
Support multi-account AWS architecture using Organizations, Control Tower, and hub-and-spoke patterns
Configure and manage IAM roles, policies, permissions, and access controls
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation
Build automation using Lambda, Step Functions, Python, and Bash/Shell scripting
Design and support event-driven architecture using EventBridge, SNS, and SQS
Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, networking, and connectivity patterns
Support compute and container platforms including EC2, ECS, and EKS
Manage AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, Service Catalog, SSM, KMS, AWS Config, and CloudWatch
Support CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions
Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using CloudWatch and Datadog
Support cloud governance, compliance, configuration monitoring, and operational controls
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and platform issues
Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
5–7 years of experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure, cloud-native services, automation, and platform engineering
Hands-on experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, IAM, VPC networking, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, and AWS Config
Experience building and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
Experience with automation using Python and Bash/Shell scripting
Experience with serverless and event-driven services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SNS, and SQS
Experience with AWS security and governance services such as IAM, KMS, SSM, AWS Config, and Service Catalog
Understanding of multi-account AWS environments and hub-and-spoke architecture
Experience supporting containerized workloads using ECS and/or EKS
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, security, and application teams
Preferred qualifications:
Experience designing or operating enterprise-scale AWS landing zones
Experience with AWS Control Tower account factory, guardrails, and governance patterns
Experience implementing event-driven architecture in production environments
Experience with Datadog monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting
Experience supporting Kubernetes workloads on EKS
Experience with cloud cost optimization, tagging strategies, and resource governance
Familiarity with compliance, security controls, audit readiness, and configuration drift management
Experience working in platform engineering, cloud migration, or cloud modernization initiatives

AWS accounts, networking, access controls, and governance structures are clearly defined and consistently managed
Infrastructure is automated, repeatable, and maintained through Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines
Multi-account AWS architecture is secure, scalable, and aligned with operational needs
Event-driven workflows are reliable, well-documented, and integrated with core AWS services
Monitoring, logging, and alerting provide clear visibility into cloud platform health and performance
Cloud security, configuration, and compliance controls are actively managed through AWS-native services
Engineering teams can deploy and operate workloads more efficiently using standardized cloud patterns and automation
