Senior AWS DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

About the job About The Role In this role, you will join a mature DevOps team building and evolving a global cloud platform for construction project management used by hundreds of thousands of users. You will focus on Kubernetes-based infrastructure on AWS, supporting cluster migrations and upgrades, while contributing to scalable, reliable, and modern DevOps practices. Responsibilities Design and evolve Kubernetes-based infrastructure on AWS EKS, ensuring stability, scalability, and high availability of the platform Own cluster migration and upgrade processes, improving reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring smooth transitions across environments Collaborate with DevOps teammates, developers, and stakeholders to deliver robust infrastructure solutions aligned with project goals Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, supporting consistency and repeatability across environments Manage and optimize Kubernetes workloads, configurations, and deployments in production environments Contribute to CI/CD and automation processes, improving delivery speed and operational efficiency Suggest and implement improvements, enhancing system performance, security, and maintainability in line with SoftServe best practices Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying modern approaches to continuously improve processes Requirements 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer Strong hands-on experience with AWS, primarily EKS for container orchestration Solid experience with Kubernetes in production environments, including deployments and cluster management Working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code, with the ability to support and extend existing configurations Proficiency in Python as a scripting or automation language is an advantage Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Upper-Intermediate or higher English level Experience with cluster migration and upgrade processes (as a plus) SoftServe is an equal opportunity employer.
