We're seeking an experienced software engineer to design and deliver AI-powered applications using modern development frameworks, cloud technologies, and large language models. You'll work on customer-facing projects, developing scalable, production-ready solutions while helping establish best practices for AI engineering across the wider development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI-enabled software solutions.
- Develop applications using technologies such as .NET, Python, React, or Node.js.
- Integrate cloud-based AI services and large language models into production systems.
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical technical solutions.
- Define technical standards, reusable components, and development best practices.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend improvements to engineering processes.
- Mentor developers and contribute to the growth of AI capability within the team.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Strong commercial experience in full stack software development.
- Proficiency in one or more of .NET/C#, Python, React, or Node.js.
- Experience delivering production software in customer or enterprise environments.
- Practical knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, or AI application development.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong software engineering, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- Experience with AI agents, vector databases, or AI evaluation techniques.
- Azure certification or equivalent experience.
- Previous technical leadership or mentoring experience.
- Experience working in consulting or professional services.
