For our client, we are seeking a Sales Systems Engineer Commercial to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $125,500 – $209,200 annually
Responsibilities
Partner with customers as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle
Manage multiple sales opportunities balancing technical engagement with deal progression
Lead complex sales engagements from discovery to proof-of-concept execution
Apply expertise in enterprise infrastructure to address customer challenges
Articulate the business and technical value of proposed solutions to customers
Advise on data security and regulatory considerations impacting IT strategies
Educate customers on emerging technologies like AI and data governance
Qualifications
5+ years in pre-sales systems engineering or solutions architecture, particularly for mid-market to enterprise customers
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent sales engagements effectively
Proven experience executing end-to-end complex sales cycles including technical validation and POC execution
Strong foundational knowledge of enterprise infrastructure including data resilience and cloud services
Ability to articulate competitive solutions aligned with business objectives and customer outcomes
Working knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security considerations
Familiarity with AI and related technologies for modern analytics and automation
