Accountabilities: The Sales Engineer will serve as a trusted technical advisor, supporting customers and sales teams by designing solutions that address business needs and technical challenges. This role combines strategic thinking, customer engagement, and solution development to help deliver successful outcomes. Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers, account teams, and internal stakeholders throughout the sales process. Partner with customers to understand integration needs, technical challenges, and requirements to develop effective solution strategies. Translate customer goals into technical solutions that align with business objectives and long-term IT strategies. Lead the development of solution architectures and technical proposals based on customer requirements. Collaborate with Sales leadership to understand customer missions, priorities, and opportunities for growth. Demonstrate expertise across areas such as cloud technologies, collaboration platforms, cybersecurity, networking, data centers, mobility, managed services, and digital transformation. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Identify customer pain points and recommend innovative approaches that adapt to changing business and technology environments. Support large-scale and complex opportunities by providing strategic technical insight and solution design. Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their industries, challenges, and desired business outcomes. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced technology professional with strong consulting skills, broad technical knowledge, and the ability to connect technology solutions with customer objectives. You should be comfortable working in complex environments and collaborating across technical, sales, and leadership teams. Broad understanding of enterprise technologies, including cloud, collaboration, security, networking, data center solutions, mobility, managed services, and digital transformation. Proven ability to design and present technical solutions that address customer requirements. Strong consultative and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business challenges. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, engineering, strategy, and customer teams. Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes. Creative thinker with the ability to adapt solutions to evolving customer needs. High emotional intelligence, leadership presence, and ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent professional experience. 10+ years of related technology experience. U.S. citizenship required. Active TS/SCI government clearance required. Experience supporting government contracting environments is preferred but not mandatory. Benefits: Hourly compensation range of approximately $50–$58 per hour, depending on experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.
