Ruby on Rails Senior Developer

Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Ruby on Rails. Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and system integrations for cloud-based platforms. Develop and implement microservices that improve application scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including technical design, development, testing, code reviews, deployment, and production support. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business requirements. Optimize database interactions and application performance while ensuring code quality and maintainability. Write unit tests and integration tests to support reliable and stable software releases. Contribute to technical discussions, architectural improvements, and continuous enhancement of engineering best practices. Requirements 5+ years of professional experience developing applications with Ruby on Rails. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services. Familiarity with scalable application architectures and microservices. Experience writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform is preferred. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, and backend development best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
