Accountabilities: As a Revenue Manager, you will lead revenue accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. You will partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate business activities, improve processes, and support the organization’s continued growth. Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end revenue close activities, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely revenue recognition across business areas. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and revenue schedules while providing guidance and feedback to accounting team members. Analyze customer contracts, pricing structures, and business arrangements to determine appropriate revenue treatment under ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP. Collaborate with FP&A, Sales, Legal, and Product teams to assess accounting impacts of new products, services, and contract structures. Own and improve revenue accounting processes, identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and scalability. Prepare and review management reporting, including revenue analysis, trends, and variance explanations. Support internal and external audits by coordinating documentation, responding to requests, and maintaining audit readiness. Manage revenue-related SOX compliance activities, including control design, documentation, testing, and remediation. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members by setting expectations and supporting professional growth. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional with deep revenue recognition expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively in a global, fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant expertise in revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP (ASC 606). Previous experience in a lead, supervisor, or manager-level accounting position with responsibility for reviewing work and mentoring team members. Strong understanding of internal controls, SOX compliance requirements, and audit processes. Experience partnering with U.S.-based business teams and communicating effectively with global stakeholders. Strong proficiency with ERP systems and financial close/reporting tools; experience with NetSuite and FloQast is a plus. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities with attention to detail. Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate results in a deadline-driven environment.
