About the job Role Overview: A Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining distributed cloud infrastructure and platform services to support development teams. They focus on scaling, automation, reliability, and observability of services, troubleshooting production issues, and proactively addressing security gaps. Collaboration with software engineers and participation in roadmap planning are key aspects of the role. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience building large-scale, cloud-based distributed systems with a focus on optimization and cost-performance tradeoffs. Strong communication skills, empathy, and collaborative mindset. Expertise in system administration and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) in high-stakes production environments. Ability to manage multiple projects and handle critical incidents effectively. Preferred: Software engineering background, Linux system knowledge, understanding of platform hardening, malware detection, and endpoint management. Key Duties Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. Enhance automation, reliability, and observability of services. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across systems.
