Remote Senior Cloud Engineer

About the job We are seeking a Senior Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer for a remote, full-time role supporting federal cloud modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities Include Leading GCP migration, modernization, and enterprise architecture design Building data pipelines with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer Developing CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build and GitHub Actions Automating infrastructure with Terraform and deploying containerized services like GKE and Cloud Run Implementing FedRAMP/FISMA security controls and supporting ATO documentation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) 8+ years cloud experience, including 5+ years GCP Certifications: Professional Cloud Architect or Data Engineer Skills in GKE, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Python or Go Experience with FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and eligible for Public Trust Preferred qualifications: NOAA or Federal civilian experience, Vertex AI, Apigee, Cloud Composer, hybrid cloud, data governance, and relevant data formats. Compensation and benefits include: salary of $160,000, health/dental/vision, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other workplace benefits.
