About the job
Role: Kubernetes Engineer responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining a scalable, federated data ecosystem to support mission-critical analytics and interoperability for a DoD customer.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments, supporting ESRI ArcGIS services.
Develop and manage Helm charts and Kubernetes Operators for declarative deployment and automated scaling of ESRI workloads.
Configure persistent storage solutions ensuring durability, backup, and recovery compliance.
Integrate monitoring and logging tools to support observability and IL-compliant reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field, or 5+ years of Kubernetes admin experience.
Experience deploying and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters, service mesh architectures, and containerized applications.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), security best practices, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
Preferred certifications include CKA or cloud-specific DevOps certifications.
