Role Overview We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, cloud-native and edge infrastructure for critical military software deployment. Responsibilities include developing end-to-end systems, ensuring security, and maintaining high availability across cloud and air-gapped environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices, own infrastructure outcomes, and harden pipelines for multiple deployment scenarios. Qualifications & Skills 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure roles with production experience Deep Kubernetes expertise including operators, networking, and multi-cluster management Proficiency with major cloud providers such as AWS and Azure, with cross-provider design skills Strong security fundamentals, including identity, secrets management, and vulnerability mitigation Experience building solutions from scratch, integrating applications, and working with disconnected environments Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance Desired Skills Security clearances such as TOP SECRET, FedRAMP, or experience with government cloud environments Experience with regulated industries or defense sector requirements Audit and compliance knowledge (FedRAMP, SOC 2) Big data and distributed systems experience The role involves ownership of infrastructure, security integration, and ensuring operational resilience in complex environments, supporting mission-critical applications.
