Real-Time Systems Engineer at BairesDev As a Real-Time Systems Engineer, you will develop and optimize high-performance, deterministic systems that operate under strict timing constraints. You will ensure the reliability of mission-critical software by managing low-level hardware interactions and specialized scheduling requirements. What You'll Do Architect and implement deterministic software solutions using various RTOS platforms. Manage and optimize real-time scheduling to meet strict timing and execution requirements. Develop low-level drivers and interfaces that interface directly with hardware constraints. Design safety-critical system components to ensure high availability and failure tolerance. Perform deep-dive performance analysis to eliminate latency and jitter in production environments. Collaborate with hardware teams to align software capabilities with physical system limitations. What We Are Looking For 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on real-time systems. Proven expertise in building deterministic systems using RTOS such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Zephyr, or QNX. Advanced proficiency in real-time scheduling and managing hardware constraints. Deep understanding of safety-critical contexts and hard real-time constraints. Advanced proficiency in English. How we do make your work (and your life) easier: 100% remote work (from anywhere).
