Accountabilities: Oversee all aspects of property operations, including revenue management, expense control, budgeting, maintenance coordination, and overall financial performance. Manage multiple residential properties in the Kingston area, including regular site visits, inspections, reporting, and operational follow-up. Lead and support maintenance teams while coordinating vendor relationships, service contracts, and property-related activities. Manage rent collections, late notices, rental postings, applications, renewals, credit verifications, and tenant documentation. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction standards are maintained. Support financial reporting activities, including reviewing invoices, assisting with monthly financials, and analyzing budget variances. Oversee capital improvement projects and provide recommendations for property enhancements and operational improvements. Maintain accurate records related to property transactions, occupancy, move-ins, move-outs, rent rolls, and delinquency reporting. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and internal teams while ensuring timely resolution of concerns. Support marketing activities, apartment showings, and initiatives that promote strong resident communities. Provide on-call support for emergency situations, including fire, flood, safety incidents, and other urgent property matters. Ensure compliance with applicable housing regulations, safety procedures, and tenant-related requirements. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential property management or a related field. Proven experience managing teams and coordinating property operations across multiple locations. Strong understanding of property financial management, budgeting, expense control, and reporting processes. Experience with property management software, ideally Yardi or similar platforms. Knowledge of applicable landlord and tenant regulations. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with residents, vendors, and colleagues. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment. Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality. Degree, diploma, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Benefits: Competitive salary range of $55,000 – $75,000 .
