About the job
Sophie Cartier
We build and operate the internal platform that enables our teams to ship reliable and secure services. As a platform engineer, you’ll take ownership of key platform components, drive automation, and improve reliability through strong operational practices. Join our team and defend the digital future with us!
Your tasks
Design, implement, and evolve infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible and operate core platform components (virtualization, compute, foundational services) with a production-first mindset
Drive reliability improvements through monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning (alerts on symptoms, not just outages)
Plan and execute maintenance and upgrades (patching, hardening, change planning, rollback strategies) aligned with security and compliance requirements
Participate in incident response and on-call rotation; lead troubleshooting, coordinate escalation, and contribute to post-incident improvements
Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities (CI/CD foundations, availability, performance, developer experience)
Raise the bar on documentation: runbooks, operational guides, and decision records explaining the “why” (not only the “what”)
Your Skills
Solid hands-on experience in platform/infra/DevOps
Strong Linux administration skills and good networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, OSI, etc.)
Strong automation skills with Python or Go plus shell scripting; you write maintainable tools (logging, safe defaults, testing mindset)
Proven experience with Terraform and Ansible in production (idempotency, reusable modules/roles, reviewable changes, state discipline)
CI/CD experience with GitLab (pipelines, runners, artifacts, secrets handling) and Git-based workflows (merge requests, reviews, branching)
Operational excellence: you troubleshoot systematically, reduce toil with automation, and improve reliability over time
Comfortable working within an ISMS / regulated environment and applying security best practices by default
Fluency in French and good English (min. B2) skills are a must.
