About the job 🚀 Platform Engineer | Kubernetes, DevOps & Sovereign Cloud 📍 Germany (Remote working) 📅 6-month Contract 💰 Highly Competitive Rate 🗣️ German speaker required Design the Next Generation of Enterprise Cloud Platforms We're supporting a major enterprise organisation on a large-scale cloud transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Platform Architect to help shape the future of its cloud platform strategy. This is an opportunity to work on complex enterprise environments, designing modern platforms that enable secure, scalable and automated infrastructure across private, hybrid and sovereign cloud environments. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges whilst influencing both engineering teams and senior stakeholders, this is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile transformation programme. 🔧 What You'll Be Doing Designing enterprise-scale Platform Engineering and DevOps architectures Defining and evolving Kubernetes and container platform strategies Driving GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and platform automation initiatives Designing private, hybrid and sovereign cloud platforms Leading cloud migration and modernisation programmes, including transitions between hyperscalers, European cloud providers and private cloud environments Working closely with engineering teams, architects and customer stakeholders to deliver scalable platform solutions Providing technical leadership across complex cloud transformation initiatives ✅ What We're Looking For Strong background in Platform Architecture, Platform Engineering or Cloud Architecture Proven experience designing, building and operating enterprise Kubernetes platforms Hands-on expertise with GitOps, Infrastructure as Code and DevOps automation Experience delivering cloud migration and platform modernisation programmes Strong knowledge of private, hybrid and sovereign cloud architectures Experience working within regulated or security-sensitive environments is highly desirable Excellent stakeholder management and technical leadership skills 🌍 Why This Opportunity? ✔ Join a major enterprise cloud transformation programme ✔ Work on cutting-edge Platform Engineering and Kubernetes technologies ✔ Influence the design of large-scale private and hybrid cloud environments ✔ Collaborate with senior technical leaders and customer stakeholders ✔ Long-term programme with significant investment and strategic importance 📩 Interested in hearing more?
