This full-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer who is passionate about Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, and secure software delivery across on-premises, air-gapped, private cloud, and regulated cloud environments. You'll work with technologies including Kubernetes, Python, Helm, Docker, Podman, GitOps, and cloud-native observability tools.
This role offers the opportunity to build and evolve enterprise-scale platform capabilities that directly impact software delivery across multiple teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, enabling developer productivity, and driving automation at scale. You'll have the chance to influence platform strategy, work with cutting-edge open-source technologies, and help establish best practices for secure, repeatable software delivery in highly regulated environments. Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Systems Administration, or Software Engineering
Strong experience supporting both on-premises and cloud-based environments, including air-gapped deployments
Expertise with Kubernetes administration, engineering, and operations
Experience with Python scripting and infrastructure automation
Hands-on experience with Helm for Kubernetes application packaging and deployments
Knowledge of container technologies including Docker and/or Podman
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with GitOps methodologies and tooling
Knowledge of Kubernetes observability, monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions
Experience implementing Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings
Familiarity with cloud-native open-source ecosystems
Experience with disaster recovery and high-availability architectures
Background supporting highly regulated or secure environments
Strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing skills

You Will
Engineer and maintain upstream Kubernetes environments supporting scalable software delivery
Build automation using Python and Helm to streamline deployments and platform operations
Design secure-by-default platform capabilities with integrated security controls
Create reusable platform services that accelerate development teams and customer outcomes
Develop and support enterprise CI/CD tooling and delivery pipelines
Implement observability solutions utilizing logs, metrics, and distributed tracing
