About the job Job Title: Senior Technical Specialist – Network & Security Experience: 8+ Years (Relevant Experience) Employment Type: Contract / Permanent (as applicable) Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Specialist – Network & Security to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in enterprise networking and network security technologies, along with experience in infrastructure architecture, automation initiatives, and technical leadership. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can design, implement, and support complex network environments while driving continuous improvements and best practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain infrastructure architecture standards aligned with customer requirements, IT strategies, and industry best practices. Design and implement enterprise network and security solutions across WAN, LAN, WLAN, and data center environments. Prepare and present technical requirements, specifications, and solution designs to stakeholders. Drive the infrastructure architecture vision and contribute to enterprise architecture initiatives. Provide technical leadership for complex network and security projects. Identify opportunities for network and infrastructure automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. Propose and implement improvements within the existing infrastructure landscape to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to resolve recurring issues and implement long-term solutions. Support continuous improvement initiatives, including virtualization, automation, and security enhancements. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of enterprise network environments. Required Technical Skills Advanced (Expert-Level Hands-On Experience) WAN Technologies LAN Technologies WLAN Technologies Network Security Strong Hands-On Experience Cisco Networking Technologies Cisco Meraki Palo Alto Networks Working Knowledge Check Point Firewalls F5 Load Balancers Cloud Networking (Azure and/or AWS) Preferred Certifications Candidates holding one or more of the following certifications will be highly preferred: CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) ECMS2 (Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist) PCNSE (Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer) CCSA (Check Point Certified Security Administrator) F5 Certifications (101/201) Microsoft AZ-900 AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Desired Candidate Profile 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise networking and network security. Strong experience designing and supporting large-scale network infrastructures. Hands-on expertise with Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto technologies. Experience working with data center, campus, and wide area network environments. Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor team members. Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. Exposure to network automation and infrastructure optimization initiatives is highly desirable. Experience with cloud networking concepts and hybrid infrastructure environments is an advantage.
