Based on your profile, your main tasks will include: Design and implement AWS architectures for startups and growing companies; Deliver end-to-end migrations from on-premise or other cloud providers to AWS; Create, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code; Conduct infrastructure reviews and deliver improvements using AWS Well-Architected Framework principles; Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes; Design secure, reliable systems following AWS best practices; Diagnose and resolve cross-service infrastructure issues, delivering solutions that drive continuous improvement. What we expect: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related infrastructure roles; Solid hands-on experience with core AWS services (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Lambda, etc.) At least one AWS Associate Level certification (Solutions Architect Associate, SysOps Administrator Associate, or Developer Associate). Additional AWS certifications (Specialty or Professional level) are a plus; Basic to intermediate experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CDK, or similar) Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.) Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and managed container services (ECS or EKS) Understanding of cloud security fundamentals and best practices; Background in software engineering or software development (e.g., previous role as a software developer, backend engineer, or full-stack developer). Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, TypeScript, or Java) beyond basic scripting. Ability to read and understand customer application code to provide better infrastructure recommendations. Willingness to learn, grow, and deepen AWS expertise in a fast-moving environment; Ability to work independently on tasks while knowing when to ask for support; Commitment to knowledge sharing: documenting solutions, contributing to internal knowledge bases, and helping teammates grow; Strong problem-solving mindset and a proactive, can-do attitude; Good English communication skills (our primary working language). The soft skills you display - like friendliness, professionalism, responsiveness, and follow-through - are very appreciated by our team. What we can offer: Competitive fixed compensation package (gross salary 2500-3500 EUR, depending on seniority). A strong engineering culture, continuous growth & learning environment: Yearly training budget, and company-paid technical training on everything related to AWS and nearby technologies. We’re happy to invest in your education and further professional development. Possibilities to test new ideas and strategies, succeed (or fail is also an essential part of the process), learn from that, and grow together with the company. Growth environment: share your experience and level up your expertise with a community of skilled professionals in our Technical Sessions. Remote work (Cloudvisor is a fully remote company) - we honestly don't care about where and how you do your work if you manage to deliver!
